The Winter Crime Scene

Welcome to this month’s newsletter, looking ahead to reads and events into March. I’ve been catching up on some reading AND writing, and am happy to report that I’ve finished writing the second book in my new series. Now my agent has the hard work of editing and finding the right home for the series (no pressure there, then 😜).

Meanwhile, I’ve loved One for Sorrow by Helen Fields and The Blood Tide by Neil Lancaster – make sure they’re on your reading list for this month. And I’m looking forward to some grisly new reads to see me through the colder weeks ahead…

But it’s not all about the reading – get yourself out and about. Bay Tales hosts its first crime festival on Saturday 12th February. There will be plenty to see and do, and a chance to catch up with your favourite authors, and friends old and new.

Also, if you’re in the Edinburgh vicinity, keep your eyes peeled for details of the next Noir at the Bar. All the details are in the newsletter.

Until next time – keep up the criming!
