Crime fiction to die for in October

Welcome to the round up of criminal goodies for October! This month there are more events to look forward to, and we feature the Portobello Book Festival on the front page.

There are plenty of new book releases to get your teeth stuck into. Particular highlights for us include Noelle Holten’s latest DC Maggie Jamieson book Perfect Dead on 16th October. Watch out on the blog later in the month for our review (but in the meantime, we can say we loved it!). Then on the 19th Canelo release the six-book Inspector Lucas Rocco series by Adrian Magson – the perfect excuse for a good old binge read as the nights begin to darken.

The Tartan Noir Show podcast returns, too, for another series, so do tune in to that. And those guys who brought us VNATB during lockdown, they’re at it again. For news on their latest plans, keep an eye on Twitter @bay_tales

As always, I’m keen to hear what you think – let me know your thoughts on the newsletter, and if you want anything added into next month’s edition, drop me a line.

Until then, be as bad as you can be!
