Crime Scene August Newsletter

Welcome to the August round up of criminal goings-on, and what a lot there is happening this month!

First of all, I wanted to give a shout out to the book bloggers, who do so much to support crime writers and bring us together with readers. On the front page this month, we say hello to one of crime fiction’s best known bloggers, Kelly Lacey of Love Books Group.

Bute Noir and the Edinburgh International Book Festival provide plenty of crime events throughout the whole month, and there are book releases from favourites Lin Anderson, Val McDermid, Lynda La Plant, Peter May, and lots more.

You can also catch up with crime writers Wendy H. Jones, Olga Wojtas and William McIntyre on their tours and travels, and make sure you don’t miss An Evening with Noelle Holten, in discussion with Sharon Bairden in Glasgow on 22 August, when she brings us her first Maggie Jamieson novel, Dead Inside.

As always, I’m keen to hear what you think – let me know your thoughts on the newsletter, and if you want anything added into next month’s edition, drop me a line.

Until then, be as bad as you can be!
